Two-Vehicle Crash on Bailey Road and State Route 2 Left Multiple InjuriesCHATTAROY, WA (August 8, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a two-vehicle crash on Bailey Road left one person dead.The incident happened on August 2nd, just after 6:00 a.m., at the intersection of State Route 2 and Bailey Road, just north of Spokane.According to reports, at least one person died at the scene as a result of the collision.Furthermore, the officers have confirmed that two vehicles were involved and the number of people injured has not yet been reported.Consequently, lanes on State Route 2 were blocked and motorists were directed to Eloika Lake and Bailey Roads.No additional information was released at this moment and the Washington State Patrol is still investigating the crash.Driving can be very dangerous and almost anything can happen if you are not prepared. OAKLAND — A 95-year-old man was pushed to the ground and carjacked Monday afternoon in the Dimond district, authorities said.The man suffered abrasions to his head and other parts of his body and was taken to a hospital, authorities said. (KRON) -- A 17-year-old Saratoga girl has been missing for more than a month and this week investigators tracked down her car. Katherine "Katie" Schneider was last seen on July 5 leaving her home and driving a white Honda Accord with tinted windows.On Monday, Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office investigators found Schneider's Honda Accord abandoned on Skyline Boulevard near Castle Rock State Park. "The vehicle was unoccupied," the Sheriff's Office wrote. An Instagram page called "Find Katie Schneider" posted a message writing, "The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office has successfully located the Honda Accord. However, they are still working to locate Katie. (KRON) -- A freeway shooting in Orinda that left one person dead last month is being investigated, the California Highway Patrol confirmed Monday. At 9:30 p.m. on July 28, the victim showed up at a hospital after being struck by gunfire on Highway 24, east of St. Stephens Drive. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A San Francisco homeless man who made many news headlines this year is back in county jail. Garret Allen Doty, 24, was re-booked into jail on August 3 for violating terms of a court's stay-away order, the District Attorney's Office told KRON4. Inmate records show Doty remained behind bars as of Tuesday afternoon.Doty was previously released from custody in April after a former San Francisco fire commissioner, Don Carmignani, failed to show up as a key witness for Doty's preliminary hearing.Doty was accused of beating Carmignani with a metal pipe in the Marina neighborhood on April 5. Carmignani, 53, said he asked the unsheltered man to move away from an entryway to Carmignani's mother's home. "Three homeless individuals had set up an encampment. My mother did not feel safe leaving her home.
